Ithaca Artist Market - August
Thank you for a great 2024 Ithaca Artist Market!
2025 event: Friday August 8, 2025, noon to 7:30pm
Our 33rd annual juried show and sale of fine and functional art, with local and regional artists, community arts groups, food / wine / beer, a boat tour, raffles, and jazz throughout the day.
About the Artist Market:
A once a year event!
THE ARTISTS: The Artist Market is a unique opportunity for visitors to meet over 80 fine artists in one location. You'll have great conversations, buy local art, and enjoy live music, performances, local food, and a scenic boat tour - all in a stunning lakeside setting. The local artistic talent and variety of art forms they create is truly outstanding.
You'll see paintings, photographs, ceramics, altered books, art jewelry, quilts, fiber art, blown glass, collage, etchings, relief printing, handmade books, wood-turned functional items, mixed media, papercut art, illustrations, and sculpture. (Image: Michael Sampson)
And it’s not just visual artists! There will be poets and writers along with local arts and community groups representing theatre, cinema, museums, and more. The Visitor Center will be on hand to answer questions about the area, helping visitors make the most of their time in Tompkins County.

FAQ:
ACCESSIBILITY: There is a flat wooden floor throughout the pavilion. Vehicles can drop off people with disabilities right next to the main entrances.
PARKING: The parking lot is laid out so that there is a slow car line coming in. It's also hard to see the entire lot so it might take some slow moving round to find a space. But it will be worth it. Just put on some music and relax and enjoy the anticipation of the fabulous market. If the lot is full, you can also park outside the entrance on the road shoulders or in the business parking lots across route 13 AFTER 5pm.
DOGS: No for the pavillion, but yes for the grounds!
PAYMENT TO VENDORS and ATM: Each artist and vendor will have their own list of payment types they accept. There may be a few that don't accept credit cards. There is an ATM located at the pavilion near the market office.
