There is a mysterious unpredictability about color that resides in every object and a luminosity that reveals itself upon close examination. Whether I am painting from nature or working with man-made objects creating beauty and a tranquil atmosphere is the objective and color is where beauty and mood are found. The act of painting is a meditation on color.
