2010 Decentralization Grants
DEC grants for not-for-profit organizations makes funds available throughout the County to libraries, arts organizations, towns, villages, community centers and the like for professional arts and cultural projects. (Individual artists can apply to “DEC” by finding a not-for-profit organization to sponsor their event.)
Funded projects must be open to and promoted to the general public, be handicapped accessible and take place in calendar year 2010.
The deadline for year 2010 grants is Monday, October 5, 2009 at 5 PM.
Final Report for Decentralization awardees. If you have completed your project, reports is due on November 1st. If you have not completed your project by November 1st, turn in an Interim Report by November 1st and a Final Report by December 20th.
2010 CAP II Grants
Community Artists' Projects will award grants of $2,000 to $2,500 each to three or four Tompkins County artists. CAP II supports the creation of new work of artists whose interaction with communities is an integral part of their art-making.

Arts in Education: 2010 Local Capacity Building Grant
The Arts in Education Grants are designed to assist schools in developing and implementing visual and performing arts residencies that are integrated into the core curriculum. Grants are available for teacher/teaching artist partnerships in multi-day school residencies.

The grant deadline for projects occurring in the 2009 calendar year was Wednesday, November 18, 2009.
2009 Linden Center Community Arts Grants
The Linden Center for Creativity and Aging, in collaboration with the Community Arts Partnership, has established the Linden Center Community Arts Grants. The purpose of these grants is to provide Tompkins County not-for-profit organizations with funds to create, support and assess arts activities that involve older adults. (For the purpose of this grant, “older adults” is defined as persons age 60 and over of any health status at any level/ability of artistic expression.) The arts activities can involve music, theatre, visual arts, dance and the written or spoken word. Qualified artists must be involved in the funded programs. Organizations can use their own staff or hire outside artists.
The deadline for 2009 grants is Friday, January 23rd, 2009 at 5 PM.

2009 United Arts Fund Grants
The United Arts Fund is designed assist Tompkins County arts organizations and individual artists.
The UNITED ARTS FUND FOR ARTS ORGANIZATIONS is a competitive grant program. Grants will be awarded for the purpose of helping Tompkins County arts organizations advance their ability to deliver the programs and services for which the organization was founded.
Due to Governor Patterson's Mid-Year Defecit Reduction Plan, there are insufficient funds for UAF Grants in 2009.

The UNITED ARTS FUND FELLOWSHIPS are a competitive program for individual Tompkins County artists. Grants are $1,000 each and are designed to assist artists in their artistic careers.

Arts and Cultural Organization Stabilization Grants
CAP administers this program with funds from the Tompkins County Tourism Program. The goal of the program is to stabilize and develop the arts and cultural tourism assets of the County. Applicants are by invitation only.
