2014 Artist in Community Grants

Artist in Community Grants (formerly "CAP II")

Artist in Community Grant award is $2,500 and is for Tompkins County artists.

Artist in Community Grants support the creation of new work of artists whose interaction with communities is an integral part of their art-making.

This program is made possible with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, celebrating 50 years of building strong, creative communities in New York State's 62 counties.

The next round of funding will be for 2014 with applications due on Friday, October 18, 2013.

(Note - these are "old" 2013 grant forms. These are basically the same as the 2014 forms will be so you can definitely learn about the grant from them. The 2014 forms will be on this site by May 1, 2013.) Guidelines and Application here as word doc.   here as pdf.

Click here to contact Robin Schwartz, Program Director, if you would like the application or handout sent to you as an e-mail attachment.
