Artist in Community Grant

The Artist in Community Grant support the creation of new work of Tompkins County artists whose interaction with communities is an integral part of their art-making.

This program is made possible with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA), celebrating 50 years of building strong, creative communities in New York State's 62 counties. The AICG grant is part of NYSCA's Decentralization program, along with our Grants for Arts Program Grant and our Arts Education grant.  The Decentralization program is administered in Tompkins County by the Community Arts Partnership.

The Artist in Community Grant award is $2,500. There will be one or two awards available.

The next round of funding will be for 2017 with applications due in October 2016.

(The forms below are for reference until the 2017 guidelines are posted in the summer of 2016.)
