Mentors for Young Artists

The Community Arts Partnership (CAP), Tompkins County's Arts Council, is interested in linking local artists (of any discipline) with local high school age artists working in the same discipline. Area artists can offer advice and guidance to a student in many ways!

Click on the link below to download the pdf list of available artists.  These artists were collected through a survey and made available to area teachers, parents and guardians.

CAP serves as a reference only. Any discussion of logistics, possibilities, questions about the artist, type of mentorship, etc. would be between the teacher or parent and the artist.

The Community Arts Partnership has other programs of interest to students: The Greater Ithaca Art Trail (, the annual artist markets, a workshop series, Artists Talks, A Literary Festival and more! Check out all of our programs on this website.
