Much of my work features animals I've seen on my visits to sanctuaries, farms, and stockyards. I previously worked at Farm Sanctuary and I like to return to the shelter in Watkins Glen to sketch and draw inspiration from the rescued animals. I'm particularly interested in merging art with my interest to address social concerns. The featured prints were made by stenciling.
I studied philosophy and art at Smith College, and I've worked for financial institutions, AmeriCorps, a public library, Farm Sanctuary, and a vegan restaurant. I like working with children, and I've taught art and puppetry to kids through AmeriCorps. I grew up in Upstate New York and have lived in Athens, Greece and San Francisco. You can check out my recent artwork on my blog address above.
