In addition to creating mixed media, textile art and photography, I hope to share the joys of collage and sculpture with small groups of people trying to find their artistic side and thereby connect with each other. My newest artistic venture, FLOOF Collage pARTy! invites the public into my studio to experience the joy of making art in groups, finding the hidden creativity within and letting it shine in order to enhance relaxation and healing. 

As a teen, I wanted to be a fashion designer. After several other "careers", life has come round full circle to allow me to pursue that goal. My work both decorates and clothes the world in ways that few would imagine.

Ten years ago, I began by making little cocktail hats. More recently I designed jewelry from high-heel shoe parts, reclaiming bits that would end up in the landfill and using them to add whimsy and zest to the world of the wearer or viewer.

Since 2003, I have loved close-up photography of industrial machinery, lighthouses, botanical design, animal faces and children at play.
