Art is Empathy.
Art is Love.
Always Love.

I am an admirer of Beauty. Beauty is an exploring line, a distortion, a shape, a shadow. It is a conversation, an explosion, silence, and subtlety; something silly that makes you laugh. Beauty is a personality. It is an observation. It is physical and it is expressive. Beauty is the Divine. "Artists and Musicians are the closest to Divinity." A good friend once said to me. Now, what does that mean? That is just the point.

Still a very young artist, my illustrative style utilizes expressive line and form. It is about autonomy, censorship, and honesty. Translating a present or imagined moment or feeling into illustrated life, my primary interests are the female form and animals. I aim to stay grounded with a deep sense of importance in process, truly participating in my daily experience, and sensitively exploiting what I perceive as my secretive inner world.

My photography is an intimate and impulsive exploration. With the guidance of the camera lens, photography is an expedition of curiosity and open eyes. It is a point and shoot collaboration between the subject, timing, and myself. I approach photography as an empathetic observer, as a participant of reality and a detached outsider conversing with the world.

I focus on themes of identity, perception, and beauty.
