A collage and video artist working in the countryside of New York, Andrea keeps it together with glue. She is currently documenting the rural condition with an on-going photographic series of dis-used trailers, called CREDIT CRUNCH/TREASURE TRASH. The multi-media project includes the film 'Treasure Trash', which is a middle-class victorian tea-party in the heart of the NY countryside.
Her collage work carries on the great tradition of tearing up commercial images and re-assembling them to resemble saints, animals, modern girls and living spaces. A range of original art greeting cards called AristoCards are available for discerning collage collectors who are also short on disposable income. The philosophy of sustainability and 'free re-use' is the ultimate thread in Andrea's work
